about us

The Women’s Ministry is purposely for the women in the church. Every female in the church over the age of sixteen years is considered a member of this ministry. The main objectives of the ministry are to: 1. Encourage the women to build strong prayer lives 2. Improve their spiritual and family lives to be able to function as good wives and mothers. 3. Set good examples as Christian women for the society. 4. Pray for the church and its leaders

The Ministry teaches its members on the role of women in the Christian home and in the Church; home management, personal hygiene, raising children, good nutrition and other domestic issues. Counseling is also provided for married couples and young ones who are about to marry. Women are trained to be godly wives and mothers who will help transform society.

The Women’s Ministry meets occasionally to pray for the growth of the church and also to intercede for the ministers and the leaders of the Church.  We study the good lives of notable women in the bible to emulate their rich character to enhance our Christian lives.

  • Marriage enrichment, wives’ responsibilities at home, child welfare care and education, etc.
  • Business management and techniques.
  • The teaching of basic principles of law relating to the family, e.g. succession, marriage, etc.
  • Promote the welfare of widows, orphans, the needy, etc.
  • Carry out evangelism i.e. preaching, witnessing and winning souls for the Lord.
  • Develop the talents of women and the total womanhood to enhance the social, physical, spiritual and intellectual status of the women.
